What this service is

Pottery Track is record-keeping software for pottery studios. It tracks which pieces belong to which customer, what stage each piece is at, and where finished work is shelved, and it sends customers a message when their order is ready.

It is a tool for the studio, not a party to whatever arrangement you have with them. Pottery Track does not fire, glaze, store, handle or sell pottery, and it does not take payment for it.

Your pottery is between you and the studio

The studio is responsible for your pieces while they have them, including anything that happens during glazing or firing, how long work takes, and their own collection and refund arrangements. Firing is not risk-free — pieces can crack or break in a kiln. Any question, complaint or claim about the pottery itself is a matter for the studio.

Order codes

Each order gets a reference code, and that code is what grants access to the order's status and photos. Anyone holding it can view them, so keep it to yourself. Don't try to find other people's orders by guessing codes or by any other means.

Availability

The service is provided as-is, without a guaranteed uptime level. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of a fault or something outside reasonable control. Studios should not treat it as the only record of where a customer's pottery is.

Notification emails and texts are sent through third-party providers and depend on them, on your network, and on the address or number given being correct. Delivery can't be guaranteed, and a notification not arriving doesn't change a studio's own obligations to its customer.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Pottery Track is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or business, or for loss or damage to pottery. Nothing here limits liability where it legally cannot be limited.

Changes

These terms may be updated, and the date at the top of this page changes when they are. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the updated terms.
